Trainer Tommy Weakley, specializes in youth basketball skill development, primarily in teaching basketball fundamentals, shooting technique, and defensive positioning and fundamentals.  He is instrumental in our summer camps and clinics where he demands focus and hard work.  He enjoys working with youth and watching them develop into better players.  He is an Edgewood HS Alumni that is currently attending and playing Men’s Basketball at DePauw University.  His commitment to basketball and the players is special and the kids enjoy his basketball enthusiasm!

Head Basketball Coach
Coach Al Shields, has an extensive career in coaching youth basketball (both boys & girls), and is dedicated to teaching fundamentally sound basketball and the discipline that goes along with it.  He has over 11 years coaching experience in the Bloomington area.  Over the past several years he coached at Batchelor Middle School, 2 years at Bloomington South High School and 6 successful years with the Bloomington Shooters AAU Program.  
            2005 AAU team finished 5th place at Nashville, TN. Nationals
            2006 AAU team were Champions of the All American Cage Classic, Erie, PA.
            2007 AAU team finished 4th place at Orlando, FL. Nationals
He is originally from Ft. Wayne, IN. where he was a strong athlete and competitor in both football and basketball at Wayne HS.  He has been married for 11 years to Ramona Shields, and is the father of their two children.
